Music video feedback

Last night at 9PM GMT I posted the music video for Dreaming of Yesterday's Answer Machine online for the world to see.In just under 12 hours the video has gotten 47 views and 5 likes. Not bad in my opinion.

I've sent a link to a couple of band members, Ethan Rose from The Summer Switch gave me some feedback today.
'Vocals could have synced a little better when they were outside singing, but that's minor. As far as the song goes, it's too long and a little repetitive but not bad at all, talented guys. The lyrics are a little cliche but it works. I like the performance shots, and the black and white, and slow downed shots were nice. It's hard making this storyline credible with young actors but I understand you're limited. But the editing was pretty solid, cuts were smooth, transitions were nice. Overall productions was real nice. Good job'

Jordan from Bow in Astoria said:
'Watched the video and it is really good :) I was very impressed :o GOOD WORK!!!!! :)'

Some feedback from other people:

'Great stuff guys, keep it up :D'
'My room mate and I watched it. We both liked it. He said that he'd listen to them and he only listens to rap and dubstep'
'My son's first music video with his mate Ryan Bosley. Can't wait for more to come. In the summer perhaps?'

People have been sharing the video round which is good, very happy.

I'm really pleased with that feedback. I shot the footage for the video on the 15th of February and was able to release it on the 9th of March, so that's under a month of editing. Also had to create an album cover (front and back) as well as a poster so this means I wasn't totally focused on the video.

I'm hoping that I'll be making more music videos or even short films in the near future! This was too much fun not to do it again, granted it was stressful and frustrating but the feedback makes it all worth it!
